For sale is a lovely example of an RCAF Ordinary Airman’s Forage Cap / Field Service Side Cap. 1942 dated. Size 7 1/8.
 
The cap is maker marked ‘Rayman Cap Co. Toronto’.
 
Complete with a lovely pair of RCAF brass buttons.
 
Inside the cap is a bit dusty, but this could easily be cleaned up. I would imagine it was unissued or hardly used as the overall condition is excellent and the blue melton wool a rich colour.
 
RCAF versions of the field service cap are much scarcer than the RAF counterparts.
