For sale is a gorgeous example of a late war, RAF C Type Flying Helmet, complete with its internal wiring loom and Type 32 Receivers. 22C/879. Size 3.
 
The helmet is in absolutely super condition, retaining its original finish and with no age darkening to the leather (which indicates it has not been treated with any harsh leather conditioners). Whilst the external markings have all but faded, the helmet is very generously sized and is most likely a Size 3. The helmet is complete with all of its goggle straps, retaining 99% of the original paint. The chinstrap is still very elasticated and in great condition. Inside the helmet is really clean, with only light soiling.

The helmet is complete with its original internal wiring loom (correctly stitched into place). The loom again is in fantastic condition and complete with a really nice, wartime bell-plug.

The loom is connected to a pair of Type 32 receivers (10A/13466) which, not uncommonly, are mismatched.
 
Overall this a superb flying helmet, and it would be very hard to upgrade.
