RAF ‘BATTLE OF BRITAIN’ 1940 DATED FLIGHT SGTS TUNIC

For sale is a lovely example of a rare 1940 dated Flight Sgts Tunic; 'Jackets, Airman: Simplified'.

This particular tunic is in superb condition, with little to no moth damage, and still retaining a vivid colour to the serge wool. All of the insignia is in great condition as well.

The tunic is complete with the belt, although there is a subtle colour difference under studio lights, so this is likely a retrospective addition. Nonetheless, this does not detract in any way from the tunic.

A fantastic tunic and rare to find with the 1940 date, making it very appropiate for a Battle of Britain collection.
